Inflation decreased by 1.39% in a week

Inflation decreased by 1.39% in one week, the weekly inflation rate on annual basis came to 22.32%.

The Bureau of Statistics released its weekly inflation report, according to which the prices of 12 items increased in a week.

Mobile phone prices reduced by up to 30%

Tomatoes became expensive by 13 rupees 83 paise, potato by 3 rupees 68 paise per kg, eggs became expensive by 11 rupees 16 paise per dozen in a week.

In recent weeks, dal gram has become expensive by Rs 2 32 paise, beef by Rs 5 87 paise per kg, a tin of 2.5 kg ghee has become expensive by Rs 5 72 paise in a week.

On a weekly basis, 13 items became cheaper, Onion by Rs 30 13 paise, Broiler chicken by Rs 79 per kg, 20 kg bag of flour in a week became cheaper by Rs 82 41 paise.

Heavy rain and hail are forecast in most parts of the country from today

Bananas became cheaper by 3 rupees 48 paise per dozen, garlic by 8 rupees 73 paise per kg, Chinese rice, jaggery dal and lentils also got cheaper in recent weeks.

According to the Bureau of Statistics, there was stability in the prices of 26 commodities in the last week.
